Hey, how's it goin'?

My name's Aryk (on the left). I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based in my hometown of Santa Rosa. I’m a self-taught artist who built my skills from the ground up. Something you might notice about me is that I operate a bit differently than most other wedding photographers.

My approach to weddings is that of a documentarian and a witness. My couples are folks who value quality and intimacy, and want their wedding day illustrated with a unique album filled with artful candids, punctuated by breathtaking fine art portraiture. I operate with a relaxed demeanor and work hard to document weddings without pulling my subjects out of their moments, because the most important thing for any wedding is that you are, and remain, present for it.

I am a diverse, mixed medium artist: I juggle cameras and mediums ranging from film to digital to polaroid, and use every tool in my arsenal to tell your unique story. This means my style, while distinctive, is not fixed: I adjust to you and your story, because my clients and their weddings are too unique to be painted with broad strokes.

I am your personal journalist, illustrator, and resource.
